O loving and compassionate Mother, whose heart was deeply saddened, look upon us as we, in our illness, draw near to you on the hill of Calvary where your Son, Jesus, is crucified. Graced with the acceptance of suffering, we aspire to fulfill in our own bodies what is lacking in our participation in Christ's passion, on behalf of His Mystical Body, the Church. We dedicate ourselves and our afflictions to you, asking that you place them on the altar of the Cross where Jesus is affixed. May our sufferings become small offerings for our salvation and for the salvation of all people. O Mother of Sorrows, graciously receive this dedication. Fortify our hearts with hope, so that as we share in Christ's sufferings, we may also share in His comfort, today and always. Amen.
