Act Of Adoration And Reparation To Jesus In The Blessed Sacrament
I. I reverently worship You, dear Jesus, in Your sacramental presence; I recognize You as both true God and true Man. Through this act of adoration, I seek to make amends for the apathy of many believers who pass by Your churches and sometimes before the very Tabernacle you inhabit with longing love, eager to offer Yourself to Your faithful. Yet they fail to kneel before You, showing indifference that suggests they have grown tired of this divine sustenance, just like the Israelites in the desert. In reparation for this serious neglect, I offer to You the Most Precious Blood You shed from Your five wounds, especially from Your sacred Side, and as I enter into this offering, I repeat devoutly, a thousand times: O Sacrament most holy! O Sacrament divine! All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be... II. I worship You profoundly, my Jesus; I acknowledge Your presence in the Blessed Sacrament, and in this act of adoration, I aim to make amends for the carelessness of many Christians who witness You brought to the sick to provide them strength for their journey to eternity, yet leave You unattended, barely offering any signs of reverence. In reparation for this coldness, I present to You the Most Precious Blood You shed from Your five wounds, especially from Your sacred Side, and as I enter in, I repeatedly say with heartfelt devotion: O Sacrament most holy! O Sacrament divine! All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be... III. I worship You deeply, my Jesus, the true Bread of eternal life. Through my act of adoration, I wish to compensate You for the many wounds Your Heart suffers daily in the desecration of churches where You reside under the sacramental veils, wishing to be adored and loved by all Your faithful. As reparation for these acts of irreverence, I offer You the Most Precious Blood You shed from Your five wounds, especially from Your sacred Side, and entering therein with a reflective spirit, I express my devotion every moment: O Sacrament most holy! O Sacrament divine! All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be... IV. I worship You deeply, my Jesus, the living Bread come down from heaven. Through this act of adoration, I strive to atone for the many acts of irreverence committed every day by Your faithful at Holy Mass, wherein, out of boundless love, You renew the same sacrifice offered at Calvary for our salvation, in an unbloody manner. I present to You in atonement for such base ingratitude the Most Precious Blood You shed from Your five wounds, especially from Your sacred Side, and entering therein with sincere devotion, I join my voice to that of the Angels who surround You in adoration, saying with them: O Sacrament most holy! O Sacrament divine! All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be... V. I adore You deeply, my Jesus, the true Victim of expiation for our sins. I offer You this act of adoration in reparation for the sacrilegious outrages You endure from many ungrateful Christians who dare to approach You to receive communion with mortal sin on their souls. In atonement for such vile sacrileges, I present to You the last drops of Your Most Precious Blood, which You shed from Your sacred wounds, especially from the wound in Your sacred Side, and entering therein with a devout heart, I worship You, I bless You, and I love You, and I echo the words of all hearts devoted to the Blessed Sacrament: O Sacrament most holy! O Sacrament divine! All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be...
