Easter Vigil

This is the sacred night, the night filled with faith and hope. As darkness envelops the world, God, the source of Light, watches over us. Accompanying Him are all who place their trust in His promises. O Mary, this night is profoundly yours! As the final lights of the Sabbath fade away, and the Savior you bore rests in the tomb, your heart vigilantly remains awake. Your faith and hope look toward what is to come. Beyond the sealed stone, they sense the presence of the empty tomb; amidst the deep darkness, they perceive the dawn of the Resurrection. Grant us, O Mother, the grace to keep vigil in this stillness, believing and hoping in the words of the Lord. In doing so, we shall encounter the fullness of light and life in Christ, the first to rise, who reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia!
