Peter Zhang Banniu

Peter Zhang Banniu was born in 1815 in the northern region of China, during a time when the nation was increasingly hostile towards Christianity. Peter devoted himself to learning about the faith, regularly attending prayers and participating in the sacraments. However, his courageous stand did not go unnoticed. In 1844, Peter was arrested alongside many other Christians during a significant wave of persecution.
