June
June opens Ordinary Time with three great movable solemnities — the Most Holy Trinity, Corpus Christi, and the Sacred Heart — and gathers the apostles, with John the Baptist and Ss. Peter & Paul.
June’s great days are Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Jun 4), Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (Jun 12), and Nativity of John the Baptist (Jun 24).

Keeping June at home
June is the month of the Sacred Heart — many homes enthrone an image of the Heart of Jesus and renew a simple act of consecration. Corpus Christi, the week before, is kept with processions and devotion to the Eucharist.
The feasts of John the Baptist and of Ss. Peter & Paul anchor the start of summer. It is a season to settle into a steady, ordinary rhythm of prayer as the school year ends.
