Patron Saint of Protector of Families

A prayer for this intention

For family unity

O God of compassion and love, we entrust to Your almighty protection our home, our family, and all our possessions. Envelop us in Your blessings as You blessed the Holy Family of Nazareth. Lord Jesus, our most Holy Redeemer, by the love that moved You to take on our humanity for our salvation, and by the mercy shown in Your passion on the Cross, we ask You to bless our household, our family, and all who dwell with us. Guard us from all harm and the traps set by others; protect us from lightning, hail, and fire, from floods and the tempestuousness of nature; shield us from Your just wrath, from all enmity and the malicious designs of our adversaries, from plague, famine, and conflict. Ensure that none of us departs this life without receiving the Holy Sacraments. Bestow Your blessings upon us, so that we may boldly profess our faith, which serves to sanctify us; that we may remain steadfast in hope, even amidst suffering, and that our love for You and charity toward others may continually increase. O Jesus, bless and keep us safe. O Mary, Mother of grace and mercy, grant us protection against evil spirits; guide us gently through this sorrowful world; reconcile us with Your Divine Son; present us to Him, that we may attain His promises. St. Joseph, guardian of our Savior and protector of His blessed Mother, intercede for us and safeguard our home forever. St. Michael, defend us from the wicked schemes of evil. St. Gabriel, help us to discern the Holy Will of God. St. Raphael, shield us from illness and all threats to our lives. Holy Guardian Angels, watch over us both day and night on our path to salvation. Holy Patrons, intercede for us before the Throne of God. Bless this household, O God our Father, who created us; You, Divine Son, who suffered for us on the Cross; and You, Holy Spirit, who sanctified us in Baptism. May God, in His Three Divine Persons, guard our bodies, purify our souls, guide our hearts, and lead us to everlasting life. Glory to the Father, glory to the Son, and glory to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
