Saints Philip and James were two of the original Twelve Apostles who are traditionally honored together on May 3rd, the date their relics were moved to the Church of the Holy Apostles in Rome.

Philip is remembered for bringing others to Christ and his dialogues with Jesus, while James the Less was a pivotal leader in the early Church in Jerusalem and the author of the Epistle of James.
